What's in the pack

15 templates across 6 areas — the policies most Singapore SMEs are missing:

Employment contract with all Key Employment Terms (KETs) the law requires
A complete leave policy — annual, sick, maternity, paternity, childcare, more
Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA) request policy — aligned to the Dec 2024 guidelines
PDPA data-protection policy with DPO + breach-notification steps
Code of conduct, anti-harassment & fair-employment (TAFEP-aligned)
Grievance & disciplinary procedure with due-inquiry built in

Why this matters

Good policies aren't admin — they're protection.

Most Singapore SMEs run on a handshake and a WhatsApp group until something goes wrong — a dispute, a data breach, a wrongful-dismissal claim. Clear, fair, written policies protect both you and your team, and they're increasingly expected for grants, tenders and bigger clients. Start from a solid template, adapt it to your company, and you're most of the way there. Built by Dr Nick Tung Kai Sheng, PMC-certified AI consultant.

Questions

Are these HR templates free?

Yes. All 15 templates are free — enter your email once and the whole pack unlocks on this page to copy or download, and I'll email it to you as well.

Are the templates compliant with Singapore law?

They're written for Singapore SMEs and aligned to the Employment Act, MOM and Tripartite guidelines, TAFEP fair-employment practices, the PDPA and the WSH Act. They are educational starting templates to adapt — not legal advice — and they flag where you must confirm current statutory figures (e.g. leave entitlements, retirement & re-employment ages), because those change.

What's the difference between a contract and the Key Employment Terms (KETs)?

Singapore's Employment Act requires employers to give employees their Key Employment Terms in writing within 14 days of starting work. The included employment-contract template is structured to double as your KETs record once you complete all the key terms (salary, hours, leave, notice and so on).

Do I need a flexible work arrangement (FWA) policy?

Under the Tripartite Guidelines on Flexible Work Arrangement Requests (effective 1 December 2024), employers are expected to have a proper process to receive and consider formal FWA requests and respond within two months. The included FWA template gives you that process.

Can I edit and brand them as my own?

Yes — that's the point. Replace the [placeholders], adjust clauses to your company, and add your branding. Just don't rely on them as legal advice; for a tricky termination, dispute or data-breach matter, take professional advice.

These are educational templates to adapt — not legal advice. Singapore employment law and statutory entitlements change; confirm current figures on the official MOM, TAFEP, CPF and PDPC sources. Reviewed & updated June 2026.
