Role cost vs AI.
What does a role really cost — and what would it take to redesign it with AI instead of grinding your team? Pick a role (real Singapore median wages built in), see the repetitive load AI can absorb, and the grant-funded cost to do it. Redesign, not replace.

The redesign, not a cut
An AI employee absorbs the repetitive 75% of this S$3,190/mo role — roughly S$33,591/year of freed-up capacity — for about S$3,000/yearafter the 50% PSG grant. You don't cut the role; you redesign it so the person moves to the higher-value work machines can't do. Workforce 100% + AI 100% = a stronger 200%. And the reskilling can be funded under CTC.
Wages are real medians from MOM (Resident Occupational Wages, June 2024, via data.gov.sg). Repetitive share and AI cost are illustrative inputs you control. Indicative only — not financial advice. The framing is job redesign, never headcount replacement.
Why "redesign", not "replace"?
Cutting a role to save a salary is the wrong move — operationally and as a grant case. Singapore's funding (CTC especially) is built to support job redesign: AI absorbs the repetitive 70–85% of a role's volume, and the person moves to the judgement, relationship and growth work machines can't do. Same headcount, higher output. This tool sizes that opportunity in real dollars.

Common questions
Where do the wage figures come from?
They're real median monthly gross wages from MOM's 'Resident Occupational Wages, June 2024' dataset, published on data.gov.sg under the Open Data Licence. You can also enter your own figure.
Is this about replacing staff with AI?
No — the opposite. The calculator shows how AI absorbs the repetitive share of a role so the person moves to higher-value work. It's job redesign: workforce 100% + AI 100% = a stronger 200%. Singapore's grants (CTC especially) fund exactly this kind of redesign and reskilling.
How accurate are the AI cost and savings?
Indicative. The wage is real; the repetitive share and AI tool cost are inputs you control, and the 50% reflects the PSG grant rate. Treat the output as a directional starting point, not financial advice or a quote.
